Hurricanes are big tropical storms that destroy everything.hurricanes have a eye the biggest part of the hurricane and this is the point where a hurrcane will be grow up(look at the picture).but in the eye there is no wind it's the 'windfree' area.
a hurricane will be born on a warm water.also hurricanes are born on water but they can go over to land.when they are on the land they destroy everything: houses,vehicles,trees and so on.if hurricanes go from water to land they take a very big wave with them.this wave destroy everything at the coast.
a hurricane lives until a week.
a hurricane can have a speed of 120 km/h.
